History

Talleres Metalúrgicos Francisco Mazzeo e Hijo S.A. facilities are inaugurated in 1982 in the Industrial Park of Olavarria city and focuses on producing heavy metallurgic works for the prominent industries in the area, such as cement, ceramics, lime and stone quarries. Some of those clients are Loma Negra CIASA, Minetti Group, Calera Avellaneda, Cerro Negro, and international engineering firms such as Polysius, FL Smith, Loesche, PCR. Thus, becomes a supply benchmark for cement plants, not only in Olavarria but throughout the country.

The hallmark of the company is its adaptability in the manufacturing works performed, since the expertise team has been devoted not only to a single range of equipment in one industry. On the contrary, the company seeks permanent innovation and enhancement in different industries, covering mining and energy sector too. The incorporation of new clients leads the company to venture and excel in the energy industry by providing top quality equipment to the oil service companies.

Innovation and sustainable development is a premise for FM, constantly undertaking new challenges, adding capacity and flawless track, and being totally client-oriented and always attentive to the specific needs of each client; and therefore, turning into the “industry of industries".

Milestones in the History of TM Francisco Mazzeo

1947 • Francisco Mazzeo founded the metal workshop for heavy metallurgic equipment manufacture to address the needs of the mining industry in the local area.

1965 • The company incorporated machines to handle/work with steel plates, as well as machines and tools for mechanized works.

1982 • The company moved to the Industrial Park I and added folding and lathe equipments, and it increased its lifting capacity. With the new infrastructure the company began to project into new mining and energy markets nationwide.

2000 • It started to produce the first equipments for oilfield service companies.

2006 • International certifications ASME U and accreditation from the National Board are obtained, and the company is registered as a manufacturer of equipments.

2011 • It obtained the Quality Management System Standard ISO 9001-2000 certification.
